Because Yamanouchi has decided to associate itself with Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) they have become a target of the campaign to close HLS. Therefore we decided to release a Who's Who of Yamanouchi for the year 2002-2003. We know who has come in and out of their Palo Alto facility, what companies are associating with Yamanouchi, and who the main players are.Let the message be clear here: Yamanouchi is being targeted because they are associated with HLS. Any and every company that is in bed with HLS can only expect the same kind of treatment. When dealing with a lab whose trade slogan is "Your Secret is our Secret" - you can damn well be certain that all of your secrets - from memos, to research, to phone numbers to home addresses, will become our secrets too.
Yamanouchi is a famous and longstanding customer of HLS. This is the company that contracted HLS to break the legs of 40 beagle dogs at the East Millstone facility for a drug that was already tested and on the market. The exposure of this scandal saw Kim Bassinger work with animal advocacy groups to stop the experiment and free those 40 dogs.
It is our responsibility to pick up where they left off, and free the rest of the animals Yamanouchi has condemned inside of HLS. Because they were so ruthless and unconcerned with the feelings of those poor pups, we have no misgivings in our aggressive campaign approach. This leaking of confidential info is the first of many actions to come againt Yamanouchi and many other HLS customers based in the US.
So weed through the information, copy it down, print it out, and put it to use! Its more important than ever to show our teeth, roll up our sleeves and destroy HLS once and for all!
